Module 2: Communication and Language:
We enhance understanding of inclusive language and communication to engage with people with disabilities. This module focuses on creating a welcoming environment from the first interaction and includes practical tools like posters and social media checklists for consistent messaging.

Module 3: Disability, Accessibility and Inclusion
This module helps to shift the mindset from a medical model of disability to a social model by focusing on removing barriers instead of trying to “fix” individuals. It introduces universal design principles and provides tools like checklists and posters to assist clubs in improving access, ensuring everyone can participate equally and safely.

Module 4: Misconceptions and Unconscious Bias
This module tackles misconceptions and unconscious biases that can exclude people with disability. It equips sports administrators with the TREE method to make activities more inclusive and offers practical strategies for creating welcoming and flexible sporting environments.

Module 5: Making a Person Feel Welcome
This module highlights the importance of first impressions and ongoing support. It provides ten practical tips to help people with disability feel welcomed at your club and stresses the need to give them a voice in shaping their sports experiences.

Module 6: Having an Inclusive Mindset
This module highlights that true inclusion begins with our mindset, going beyond policies and programs. It encourages sports administrators and volunteers to reflect on their beliefs while providing practical strategies to promote openness, respect, and genuine inclusion. Let’s embrace this positive journey together!

Module 7: Understanding the Importance of an Inclusive Club Culture
This module highlights that a truly inclusive culture goes beyond temporary initiatives. It focuses on how values, behaviors, and leadership impact the daily experiences of individuals with disabilities and provides tools for clubs to create a culture that genuinely supports diversity and belonging.

Module 8: Practical Steps to Building Your Club’s Inclusive Culture
This module provides clear steps for clubs to actively develop and maintain an inclusive culture. It emphasises integrating inclusion into daily operations, decision-making, and member engagement, making it a core part of the club’s functioning rather than just a focus during special events.

Module 9: How to Share Your Inclusive Energy with Your Community
This module encourages clubs to become champions of inclusion within their wider communities. It explores methods for sharing inclusive values through storytelling, partnerships, and local outreach. By doing so, it helps create a ripple effect that normalises disability inclusion and inspires others to follow the club’s example.
