Leisure Networks are pleased to be partnering with the AFL to build a new education program


AFL Inclusive Clubs & Gender Equity Education Program, presented by BHP

Leisure Networks are pleased to be partnering with the AFL to build greater awareness in community clubs across the country.

The pilot will work with both AFL staff and local clubs over a 12 month period, to build greater awareness around gender equity and inclusion.

The program helps clubs to:

  • create safe, equal and respectful environments for all, especially women and girls, to increase involvement on and off the field;
  • review and update club policies, governance, website and social media; and
  • create community-based initiatives.

We are really excited to start rolling this national initiative out in the coming weeks.
