How we help you manage your NDIS plan

To help you make the most of your NDIS plan, you’ll need to provide us with a copy. This gives us the information and detail we need to help you manage your funds, limit any overspend and make sure you stay compliant.

 

How do we help you avoid overspending on you plan?

When we have a copy of your plan, we can identify any potential overspend (or underspend). We provide you with monthly statements to keep you up-to-date on the status of your plan and available planning. You can also access information about your budget via the Leisure Networks portal, anytime of the day or night.

At Leisure Networks we go even further. When we have a copy of your plan to refer to, we can proactively monitor your spending and if we think you are getting close to exhausting your budget, we will contact you to find a solution.

 

Do we determine whether supports or services are ‘reasonable and necessary’?

No, it’s not up to Leisure Networks, as your plan manager, to determine whether supports or services are ‘reasonable and necessary’.

Your NDIS plan has funds approved for the reasonable and necessary supports and services you need.  When you provide us with a copy of your plan, we can see these details so that we can support you to make sure your funds are being spent in accordance with your plan.

 

What happens if one of my providers submits an invoice and there are not enough funds available?

By providing us with a copy of your plan we are able to monitor your available funding to avoid overspend, before it becomes a problem.

As well as providing you with regular monthly statements to keep you up-to-date on the status of your plan and available planning. We encourage you to check your budget via the Leisure Networks portal. If we see that your funds are being spent faster than expected, we will contact you to find a solution.

We are here to support you, so if we think that there is a risk your funds will be exhausted before your next plan review, we will be in contact to discuss effective ways for you to utilise your approved funds.

If you have had a change in circumstances and require additional funding, you need to contact the NDIS to discuss your options.

 

Can my providers charge me more than the limits set in the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits?

No. When you use Leisure Networks plan management, providers cannot charge you more than the price limits outlined in the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits. We have rigorous processes in place to ensure you do not pay providers more than the limits and we will contact you when we become aware of any non-compliant behaviour.
