Hello Everyone,A reminder, if you are over 30 and have not already received a fourth dose of a COVID-19 vaccination, you can do so three months after your third dose or after being infected with COVID-19, if the infection has occurred since your third dose. To find a vaccination provider near you, use the Australian Government’s Vaccine Clinic Finder. Remember:No doubt you are aware that on Wednesday, 12 October, the pandemic declaration in Victoria ended and Victorians are now no longer required to isolate after testing positive to COVID-19. However, isolation for positive cases is strongly recommended, as well as close contacts continuing to test and wearing masks indoors. Leisure Networks has a duty of care to ensure we provide a safe workplace for our staff and our customers. In line with this, Leisure Networks staff who test positive for Covid-19 will continue to isolate for 5 days or until they are symptom free after the 5 days. What does this mean for you as a customer at Leisure Networks? Leisure Networks Supports: Leisure Networks is committed to ensuring you continue to receive the essential disability supports you need whilst feeling safe and connected in your community. If 1:1 supports have been booked with Leisure Networks and a support worker has become no longer available to fill this we will always endeavour to re-fill the support with another worker, and if that is not possible our team will call you to find alternative days/times or to perhaps offer a group program when this suits your needs. At all times we will keep you up to date and informed and provide you with options when we cannot fulfil a support for you or your loved one. Additional risk reductions to address COVID community transmission at Leisure Networks: All customers who test positive for Covid-19 are strongly recommended to isolate for 5 days or until they are symptom free after the 5 days.
