Ready to start learning what it is really like to live independently? Independent Living – thrive places you into the thick of the action. Each month you will experience a 3 day / 2 night stay away from home, immersing yourself in the real deal of independent living.
Offered as a small group term-by-term Program of Support, Independent Living – thrive gives you continuity with familiar staff and peers. You will develop routines together and implement skills to practice what it might be like to live with housemates. Get insights into working as a ‘house’ with housemates to split grocery bills, cook meals, clean and other activities you may do if you were to live independently.
Build your confidence and practice skills that will support you on your journey towards independent living.
Thrive runs in groups of up to 4 participants
Programs are every fortnight commencing Monday 15/4/24. Ticket price is the out-of-pocket cost for Two 2-night stays. NDIS funding estimate for the term is: $4,663
