Living Well Adults Term 3 – Masterchef (Wednesday & Friday)

Living Well Term 3 - Masterchef
Back by popular demand our MasterChef Programs are designed to connect you socially to new friends and your local community as well as reinforce the importance of eating balanced and portioned meals. You will learn basic cookery skills in a fun, friendly, interactive and well supported environment. Our aim is to encourage you to explore the beauty and accessibility of fresh, local, seasonal ingredients and promote better food choices. MasterChef builds on fine motor skills as well as teaching the basics of meal preparation. Everyone is involved in the entire cooking process, from meal planning and shopping for ingredients at the local Supermarket to preparing and cutting up the ingredients, cooking the meal and serving up portions. When time allows we also share the meal together including table setting and serving skills. This program can be tailored to all skill levels and is funded at 1:2, providing a hands on support in the kitchen. Bring along your ideas, enthusiasm and a willingness to have fun and try new things..... oh and don't forget to bring a container too, so you can take home your yummy leftovers!
