Executive Assistant - Geelong

  • Based at LN HQ (Geelong)
  • Part Time (up to 15 hours per week)

This newly created role will provide a comprehensive professional and confidential secretariat and administrative support service to the Chief Executive Officer, Leadership Team and Board of Directors.  The role will support the effective and efficient governance of the organisation including the provision of secretariat support for the Board and all Board Committees.

You will have a demonstrated background working in a similar role within a busy open plan office environment and enjoy being in a business partnering role. You will have advanced IT and computer skills including the Office 365 suite of apps including Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint and Word. You will demonstrate strong organisational skills with superior written/verbal communication skills and a high level of self-awareness.

The role will require an individual who shows initiative, is self-driven and action-orientated. Having an ability to deal with confidential information and manage multiple priorities whilst conducting yourself professionally at all times will be key to your success. Your positive, pro-active attitude and collaborative approach will see you to hit the ground running in the Executive Assistant role with the high performing team at Leisure Networks.

Team Leader, Community Connections - Geelong

The Team Leader, Community Connections (Geelong) is responsible for providing leadership and management support for a team of highly capable Support Coordinators, ensuring outcomes are delivered in line with Leisure Networks Support Coordination Model of Service and overall business strategy.

The Team Leader is passionate about creating a supportive, high performing team culture in line with our organisation’s commitment to being #culturefirst. With significant experience leading an empowered, multi-disciplinary team the Team Leader excels in providing an individualised coaching and mentoring approach for all team members. A solid understanding of community development principles, the disability sector, the NDIS and an ability to demonstrate strong leadership during a time of growth and ongoing change is critical to the success of this role. As Support Coordinators work within a “billable” environment, the Team Leader will bring an understanding of business principles and commercial thinking and be comfortable using data and business analytics to monitor and report on service and budget targets and customer outcomes.

Support Coordinators - Register your interest for future opportunities!

Support Coordinators at Leisure Networks have a primary focus on capacity building across all domains of an individual’s life, working with a broad range of customers from children to older adults.  The role of a Support Coordinator is to implement NDIS plans, build the capacity of individuals and their informal support network, linking to all services required including mainstream and formal support services.  Our Support Coordination customers can have varied complexities within their lives and will need to confidently navigated by the Support Coordinator,  These complexities can vary and we are therefore seeking an experienced Support Coordinator who has knowledge operating in the NDIS, experience in disability supports and/or working within child protection, housing or health services.

A Support Coordinator actively promotes the empowerment of individuals to exercise their choice and control through identifying opportunities for innovative service delivery to pursue individuals goals.  A Support Coordinator also provides opportunities to strengthen an individual’s independence and navigate the NDIS.

Disability/Inclusion Support Workers - (Casual)

As Leisure Networks continue to expand our programs and activities for kids, teens and adults, we are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to help provide support to deliver these programs, in order to enable our participants to transition to a desired level of independence. We have multiple positions to offer enthusiastic and creative people who are passionate about engaging others and promoting social and community inclusion.  Previous disability experience is essential.
