Libby brings to Leisure Networks a strong commitment to the organisation's vison of capable, healthy people and inclusive communities. With a Masters Degree in health sciences Libby has held senior roles with state government, Barwon Health and the TAC along with eight years as an elected local councillor and Mayor. Under Libby’s leadership, Leisure Networks is going through significant NDIS driven growth. Libby has excellent skills in developing strategic insights into leadership in times of change, stakeholder management, building strategic alliances and developing new business and service models.
Manager, Inclusion & Participation
Sue is a long serving staff member and previous Board Member of Leisure Networks. Sue has a teaching, lecturing, public speaking and facilitating background and has specialised in leadership development and management in the sports sector over the past 25 years. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience from her previous roles as Board Member at VicHealth, roles at Sports and Recreation, Victoria, Deakin and Monash Universities and the Australain Sports Commissions Womens Leadership Programs. Sue prides herself on building relationships and close alliances which has been evidenced through the education opporunities she has brought to our the Barwon region through various forums around capacity building for Sporting Clubs and other organisations locally.
Manager, Business Services
Trevor has held various roles in a number of Geelong businesses and comes to Leisure Network with strong experience in all aspects of business management. Trevor is an active community member and is currently Chair of the Leopold Community Bank and has served as Treasurer on the Allanvale Preschool. Trevor has also been involved in other community groups including Chairperson for the committee responsible in the renaming of St Alban's Park in 1999.
Manager, People and Culture
Pip brings to Leisure Neteworks over 17 years’ experience in Human Resources. Pip is Degree qualified in Human Resources with experience across a variety of industries and is skilled in all areas of Human Resources including Organisational Development, Leadership Development, Performance Management, Industrial Relations, Recruitment and HR Systems Development. Pip brings an approachable and down to earth approach, and enjoys developing successful relationships across all levels of the organisation including the leadership team, middle management and operational staff. As Manager, People and Culture, Pip provides strategic leadership and technical expertise in all areas relating to people and culture at Leisure Networks. Pip provides general operational support and strategic organisational and people development to Leisure Networks.
Manager, NDIS Service Development
Tamie joined Leisure Networks just prior to the start of the NDIS trial in July 2013. Tamie came from the TAC with extensive experience in stakeholder management, service development, leadership and operating in a social insurance scheme. Tamie has a Bachelor of Nursing and worked the majority of her 13 years as an emergency and cardiac nurse in Victoria and Western Australia. After eventually settling in Geelong, she had a family and became an Associate Nurse Unit Manager at Barwon Health. With the NDIS pilot commencing in Geelong, Tamie joined Leisure Networks to lead the transition and implementation of disability support services under the NDIS framework. Tamie finds working at Leisure Networks both exciting and challenging, but most of all loves developing staff and seeing the people we support pop into the office to say hello. Tamie’s systematic and approachable manner to her work has enabled Leisure Networks to become a leading service provider in the Geelong region that is paving the way for future opportunities and growth in the sector.
